Remi Osifo is a pioneering force in African tourism, acclaimed for her innovative approach to storytelling, cultural promotion, and destination marketing. She is a Hospitality Consultant and Lead Curator at Abuja City Tourist, a visionary tourism company she launched in 2018 to reframe global narratives about Nigeria and drive investment in the tourism and hospitality sectors.
With over nine years of cross-sector experience spanning media, management consulting, and hospitality, Remi has emerged as a dynamic voice in Africa’s travel ecosystem. Her work centers on visual storytelling using the city of Abuja as a living canvas to highlight the vibrancy, history, and cultural wealth of Nigeria. Through Abuja City Tourist, she has curated immersive city tours that blend heritage, art, and local insights, attracting both domestic and international travelers.
Her passion has led to the creation of ACT Experience, a boutique travel experience brand, and ACT Home, a premium short-stay accommodation offering designed to provide comfort, authenticity, and convenience for tourists exploring Nigeria's capital. Remi’s influence extends beyond Nigeria. She has traveled across several African countries, documenting and sharing compelling travel stories that inspire Nigerians to rediscover the continent. Her work champions intra-African tourism and showcases the power of African narratives told by Africans. In 2025, she hosted the Nigerian Minister of Art, Culture, Creative Economy and Tourism on an exclusive Abuja City Tour, further cementing her role as a key player in national tourism advocacy.
