I took a trip to the cleanest country in Africa!

These are a few things I was fascinated by during this trip; 

Please bear in mind that this economy is literally being rebuilt after a disheartening gen0cid£

• You could go to jail for being in possession of a plastic (nylon) bag or pay a $150 fine. Yes, the same one we can’t function without.

• Interaction with law enforcement is actually non-existent. Nobody will ask you for any “particulars”, they’ll just scan your plate number, show you if you’ve got fines, you’ll pay if you do and you’re well on your way

• Speed limit is 60kmh. You exceed it, you pay $25. There are cameras everywhere, you’ll get an instant alert on your phone once you exceed it 🌚

• They are very laid back.

• They have a dedicated day to clean their country monthly. They also use this day to build homes and help people that were affected by the gen0cid£. 

• No street food allowed. Our tour guide said it’s not encouraged but I’m almost certain it’s part of their clean environment culture

• Our tour guide didn’t understand why we wanted to wear heels to dance to Asake in the club. He said “nobody wears heels to the club” 😅

• They love beer. They also have banana beer. You’d rarely see anyone drinking anything else. 

• Nigeria to world! They love our music however they can’t understand why we love pepper (chili) so much!
